Community Sailing in the USA
The Treasure Island Sailing Center is one of many Community Based Sailing Centers who are working hard to grow the sport of sailing, and make it eqaully accessible to all individuals. Many cities across the United States have adopted similar programs and have proven the success of Community Sailing. The Treasure
Island Sailing Center is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to
improve our community and the sport of sailing by providing access,
facilities, and sailing instruction to people of all socioeconomic
backgrounds, skill levels, and physical abilities.
